The Scales of War (SoW) Path should be taking place in the “traditional” 4th Ed. DnD world, so towns mentioned in the Dungeon Master’s Guide and other supporting documents should exist in the world.  From the SoW materials Wizards of the Coast has made available so far, some of the known locations are: Town of Brindol (good sized town), City of Overlook (fairly large city), Bordrin’s Watch (Castle), Feud (two dueling Dwarven families), Myler’s Stone (mostly empty town), Old Den (Elven trade depot), Hope (mostly empty Silver mine town), Town of Sodden (farmers and fisherfolk), Lantern (filthy logger town), The Ebon Tower (Wizard Tower), Jarrak City, New Shardaluum, Tarsalee, Blackbarrow Castle, Oakmont, Rythan Keep, Whorlwood Forest.  Most of the towns with any description are on the second map below.

Dungeon Master Notes - updated 8/26/09

I’m planning on ending this campaign, at least for now.  My plan is to finish the fight we are in, then just “finish” this adventure with a quick run-down on the rest of the Mines of Karak and level up to 7. We can then have the characters back in Overlook, and if we get more people interested in playing, then we can pick up on the next adventure.

Please make sure you have the modules that are available here and use them to put together your character - it makes it easy for me to see what your powers are if you are late or if someone else is playing your character for you.  I have not been stripping the whispers from me to any of you (or vise versa) from the chat logs that I post.  You have been warned.  You can now chat amongst yourselves without me listening in.
