Name: Mikal Meivrilo

Mikal was raised by his human mother in a human village.  His father, Padrion Meivrilo, was an evil power hungry sorcerer who was eventually killed in the sacking of the Elven city Dentalia.  Mikal was unaware of his arcane heritage until his Raven familiar manifested and began to guide him along his path.  His mother forced him to take tutelage among a wizards guild run primarily by Eladrin and Elves.  Due to his mixed heritage and natural arcane abilities he was often derided by his peers and scolded by his professors.  His time at the wizard guild was short lived and Mikal developed a mistrust of Elves, Eladrin and Wizards that lasts to this very day.  

His raven familiar has educated him concerning his father’s past and Mikal strives to do good in the world wherever he can. His familiar will often be found perched on his shoulder and is unremarkable except for the nearly imperceptible twinkle in the bird’s eyes that looks like a distant star.  When destroyed a raven tattoo appears on Mikal’s shoulder where the raven perches, when the raven is summoned into existence again it rises from the tattoo itself.
