The Party meets Guy Damrosch
Mistress Eliza from the Chapter house has asked the party to meet with a merchant named Guy Damrosch, who was in need of the services of an adventuring group. She also suggested that I go with the party.
After meeting with Guy at the Neltin Inn, we learned that he is of the Kalton family, ancient heirs to the land around the Witchlight Swamp. Alton Kalton started a settlement there, but it was destroyed and he vanished..
Guy asked us to go investigate the manor house and see if it was unoccupied, I’m not sure I like the sound of that.
he claims that there is a treasure rumored to be buried beneath the manor, but that might be his way of getting us to do the work for less than we would otherwise do it., but I don’t feel that he has lied to us about that.

 

Note to Self: no raw meat!
In the middle of the first watch on our first day on the trail, we encounter a small pack of wolves that boldly attacked our encampment. We managed to kill them, but Sithis took a beating, luckily we had the paladin took pity on him and called forth his gods blessings to return him to health.

 

Betrayal at Kalton
Several of the locals were posing as fishermen at the keep, however they attempted to attack us rather quickly, after a hard fought battle all 5 of the villains were defeated, we looted a belt, 120 gold and a potion from them.

 

Inside the manor
We were confronted by a golem in a room full of traps,w e managed to dispatch the golem and deactivate the traps, after this Lodin and Tsurras rejoined our party.
Suddenly we were confronted with a ghost who claimed to be a servant of the Alton family and that we would need to get past him if we were seeking the Alton family treasure.

 

Underground storeroom
We entered the scene of an old battle between lizardmen and humans in an underground storeroom. The bodies had long since turned to skeletons. In the middle of the room stood a brightly shining clerical symbol. As Estavir ran to the edge of the river that flowed along the western wall of the room, a young black dragon lept forth and attacked the party.
After a long and tiring battle our group defeated the wyrmling, we buried the clerics remains and put his sould at rest. Our cleric is now equipped with the endowed clerical symbol, and Estavir took a set of Darkleaf armour. We then headed back to town.

 

Back in Fallcrest
Guy has vacated his room at the Inn and has moved into his new offices, he left us a note asking us to go to the Chpater House to get the rest of our reward.
He has asked us to send him a note if we found anything that we deemed worthy of selling to him.
(Those are the notes I made while playing, they do not include the final battle.)
